Mayfair Hotel supports South Australian produce and has taken the next step with the introduction of bee hives on its rooftop in late 2015. I was commissioned to develop a brand for the rooftop bees. The Mayfair Hotel’s brand is inspired by it’s Art Deco architecture, it was important the Rooftop Bees brand was an extension of this.
With bees comes honey and the Mayfair wanted to share its own unfiltered raw honey. The brand was extended to packaging for the honey which is available for purchase at the hotel, it is also provided as gifts to VIP guests and used at the renowned Mayflower restaurant.
